We are pleased to announce that Rick VanAlfen, CPA, has joined the team at Providence Financial. Rick brings with him 13 years of valuable experience in finance and accounting. Rick will be an asset to our charter and private school clients in many areas including financial modeling and debt structuring. Rick earned his master’s degree in accounting at the University of Utah and spent nine years with Deloitte and Touche in Salt Lake City and in Deloitte's headquarters in Wilton, Connecticut. He also has experience in the finance department of two Fortune 100 companies, having recently served as Vice President of Accounting at American Express in New York and as Director of Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy at Albertsons/SUPERVALU. We are confident that Rick brings with him unique tools to assist our clients with their financing needs.
